Nicole Forbes, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Nicole Forbes, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in the evaluation, treatment, and medication management of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression and ADHD for both children and adults. Nicole centers her work on a holistic approach to treatment with a multidisciplinary focus that may include coordination with your primary care provider and/or therapist. Before joining the SCS team, Nicole spent 7 years working as a Lead Nurse and Department Manager for Trillium Family Services in Portland, Oregon where she cared for children and teens with a variety of behavioral and mental health conditions.  She is dedicated to mental health advocacy and providing education to patients, their families, and the greater community.
 
Nicole graduated from Linfield College in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2017.  She continued her education receiving her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2021 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Nicole grew up near Denver, Colorado and has lived in the Portland area since 2009 and loves all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, seeing live music, and spending time outdoors. Nicole also loves to read the latest fantasy and science fiction novels, traveling abroad and exploring the Pacific Northwest, and most of all spending time with her family.
