Postdoctoral Training Positions

Sundstrom Clinical Services is a vibrant and fun private practice located just outside of Portland, Oregon in the city of West Linn. We have a fabulous staff of 11 licensed psychologists, three licensed professional counselors, and four prescribers, as well as an active practicum/post-doctoral training program. We provide comprehensive therapy and assessment services to children and adults and frequently work with physicians, schools, churches and other agencies to provide integrated care. As an agency, we believe in providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to clients while also creating a supportive, cohesive work environment. We are a collaborative, positive group that enjoys one another and the work we do.
Sundstrom Clinical Services has several subspecialty programs including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Gottman Couples therapy, treatment of eating disorders, comprehensive psychological evaluations, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), autism treatment across the lifespan, child/adolescent therapy, and family therapy. We cover the range of diagnostic issues, ages birth-geriatrics, and practice from a variety of theoretical orientations including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), client-centered treatment, and DBT.
Training experiences include 1:1 supervision, group supervision, clinical didactics, therapy, and assessment. We also work closely with community partners to share training opportunities. Please see our UPPD listing for more information: Universal Psychology Postdoctoral Directory (UPPD).
Preference for applicants interested in any of the following: Child therapy under 12 years of age, couples and family therapy, men’s issues, and autism.
Postdoctoral training opportunities:
