Sundstrom Clinical Services is a mental health agency in West Linn, Oregon. We provide services to adults, adolescents, children and families. Our front office team provides support to psychologists, professional counselors and psychiatric healthcare providers.

We are looking for an energetic, people person to work as a full-time, in-person receptionist at our clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with an ability to connect in a warm, positive and sensitive manner with patients, providers, and co-workers. Desired strengths include collaboration with co-workers, detailed, organized and able to prioritize competing tasks. Job duties include answering phone calls, emails and text messages, scheduling new and existing client appointments, sending forms and intake paperwork and setting up new accounts in electronic health record, greeting clients at time of check-in, maintaining up-to-date demographics in patient records, verification of insurance eligibility, receiving payments, deposits and billing, responding to referrals from outside providers and entities and release of client records.

• Minimum of 1 year medical or mental health office experience required

• Medical office billing experience preferred

• Reliable, consistent attendance and strong work ethic

• Positive attitude

• Supportive team player

• Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers

• Excellent attention to detail

• Previous customer service experience required
