Andrea Ortega-Criddle, Psy.D.

Dr. Andrea Ortega-Criddle graduated from George Fox University’s Doctoral in Clinical Psychology Program, where she received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D). She also earned a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in 2019. Before beginning her doctoral studies, Dr. Ortega-Criddle worked in Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism for three years. Throughout her doctoral training, Dr. Ortega-Criddle has worked with, and plans to continue working with, primarily children and young adults in various settings such as community health centers, intensive outpatient programs, hospitals, and emergency departments, providing both therapeutic services and assessments. She uses a theoretical orientation that integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and exposure and response prevention, all while utilizing a multicultural framework to provide culturally competent care. At Sundstrom, Dr. Ortega Criddle’s primary supervisor is Lisa Masako Snow, PsyD. Outside of her professional work, Drea enjoys making things, and has hobbies including sewing, baking, and jewelry making. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking or kayaking with her partner and their two dogs, Bumi and Zuko.
