Zanita Zody, Ph.D.
Zanita received her B.S. in psychology from Indiana University and both her M.S. and Ph.D. in child development and family studies with a specialty in marriage and family therapy from Purdue University. Zanita has dedicated over 20 years to the prevention and treatment of disordered eating, body image concerns, and diagnosable eating disorders. This work has included individual, family and group therapy with adolescents and adults across all levels of care, the training and education of treatment providers, and public policy and advocacy efforts nationwide. Zanita believes in the power of connection as a foundation for change and draws from a variety of evidenced based treatment approaches within the context of that connection. In addition to supporting the emergence and strengthening of the healthy self in an effort to combat the eating disorder, Zanita also addresses common co-occuring conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.
Zanita runs our Eating Disorder Treatment & Prevention program. Treatment services are provided by Zanita and Paige Marmer, Psy D. For more information on the Eating Disorder Treatment and Prevention program please click here:
