Over the last several years there has been a large growth in research showing how mindfulness meditation significantly impacts a wide array of physical and mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, as well as chronic pain and illness.  Somadome is the world’s first meditation dome that offers a unique technology-enabled meditation experience that combines the healing practices of binaural beats, LED color therapy, and Microcrystalline tiles to increase the benefits of meditation.  The Somadome offers a variety of 20-minute guided and unguided meditations.

Binaraul Beats

Binaural beats use varying inaudible frequencies to help guide our minds into brain states achieved during meditation.  When the right and left ear hear sounds at different frequencies, the brain produces a ghird beat, or binaraul beat.  This beat is inaudible and guides your mind into natural brainwave states.

LED Color Therapy

Contemporary research shows that colors, transmitted through light, create electrical impulses in our brains which stimulate hormonal and biochemical processes in our bodies.  Different colors regulate and control the autonomic nervous system and production of melatonin and cortisol, two hormones critical to health and wellness.

Microcrystalline Tiles

Microcrystalline tiles contribute to a feeling of calm and connectedness that users may have experienced while in nature, such as when hiking in the mountains or swimming in the sea.   Somadome incorporates the use of a specific type of microcrystalline tiles, called BioSyntonie® tiles. These tiles were created by Pierre Nicolas, a French researcher in geophysics. BioSyntonie tiles are ceramic discs that include a microcrystalline-like resonant quality. These discs produce vibrations that occur in nature, and block and dissipate the frequencies emitted by electronic devices, such as cell phones and microwaves.
