As a therapist, Dr. Cha aims to help her clients understand themselves and others in a deeper way, develop a stronger sense of self, and ultimately create stronger and more genuine relationships, beginning with the relationship that develops in therapy. Growing up in a bi-cultural family, Dr. Cha learned to understand the significance of cultural values and attune to the challenges of integrating different aspects of culture into our identities and relationships. Dr. Cha works to foster a warm, authentic, and supportive environment to facilitate awareness and growth within her clients. She is also a strong proponent of incorporating self-compassion into her work.
