Brooklyn Walker, M.A.

Currently a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) student at George Fox University, I am driven by a dedication to helping people unlock their full potential and overcome life's obstacles. My passion lies in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, guiding them through the challenges of life transitions, identity development, and personal exploration and growth.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, interpersonal, and adaptable. I recognize I only spend a short amount of time with my clients each week and want to ensure our work is helpful and applicable throughout their day-to-day lives. I primarily utilize a psychodynamic therapeutic style with a focus on attachment work, but I also integrate many ACT and CBT skills and techniques whenever relevant. My previous experience includes community mental health care with adolescents ages 16-24 where I specialized in extensive trauma work and other presentations such as depression and anxiety. I have also worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital where I provided group therapy, risk assessment, stabilization support, and more to adults of all ages and worked closely with a team of other professionals for effective patient care.

A native Oregonian, I grew up in the Beaverton area and earned my B.A. in Psychology from Pacific University and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. Here at Sundstrom, I am supervised by Dr. Lisa Snow (PsyD) for both therapy and assessment work. In my free time, I love reading, baking, snuggling with my dog, and spending time outside in beautiful Oregon!
