Assessment & Treatment Planning

Individuals and families often come to treatment unsure of whether or not an eating disorder and any co-occurring conditions actually are present and if so, what the appropriate treatment is for themselves of their loved one.

Our assessment and treatment planning consists of a minimum of 6 hours including at least one session with our Registered Dietitian and a final session detailing findings.  Your provider will take a detailed history and report of current symptoms, administer relevant assessments, collect any lab results and other relevant records from your physician.  Once all of the information has been collected, a detailed assessment report including diagnoses and relevant symptoms and areas to address (e.g., perfectionism traits, nutritional deficiencies, overcontrol) will be reviewed with the individual and/or family.  In addition, recommendations for next steps in treatment including level of care, referrals for any treatment team members that may be needed.
